Principal's Message

Welcome Back, Denman Junior High School!

It is a very exciting time at Denman Junior High School! I am honored to be a part of the DJHS Family.

As Principal, I value communication and building strong relationships with scholars and their families, as well as all other stakeholders.  The Assistant Principal, Mr. LaTrevion Wells and I strongly believe a positive home-school connection is a key factor for a successful school year.  Therefore, parents, we encourage you to reach out and communicate regularly with teachers and staff during the school year.  We will make the  greatest effort to ensure that our scholars are college and career ready and prepared to compete in a global society.   Denman’s faculty and staff will work together to challenge each student and meet them where they are academically,  promote growth and mastery, as well as provide opportunities to promote their moral, social, and character development.

 Our hope is that we, all stakeholders, can work together to improve student achievement, promote positive behavior and attendance, increase motivation, and support more positive attitudes toward school and learning.  I am confident that working together, we will build a community of learners ready to become fierce competitors in a global society.

I am excited and looking forward to an AMAZING school year!
